Conducting Clinical Trials in Asia

On June 30 from 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. , UTC and LSK BioPartners, Inc. will be presenting a Life Science Workshop on "Conducting Clinical Trials in Asia." The workshop will be hosted by Nelson Laboratories, Inc. and the presenter will be Dr. Young Jack Lee. The workshop is free to UTC members. There will be a $25 charge to non-UTC members.

Dr. Young Jack Lee has more than 30 years’ experience in clinical trials and studies dating back to 1977 when he first started working for the U.S. National Cancer Institute. He stayed with the U.S. National Institutes of Health until 1999, his last position being Chief of Biometry and Mathematical Statistics Branch, National Institute of Child Health and Human Development. After returning to Korea, Dr. Lee started LSK Global Pharma Services in 2000. LSK Global PS is a leading CRO in Korea today serving domestic as well as global pharmaceutical companies. Dr. Lee earned his bachelor’s degree in electronics engineering from Seoul National University, and Master and Ph.D. degree in mathematical statistics from Ohio State University. He has numerous publications in statistics as well as in medicine. Dr. Lee is considered the most experienced clinical trial expert in Korea today.
